Full Gallop Entertainment, Inc. is a dynamic and innovative entertainment company established in 2001. Committed to pushing artistic boundaries, we curate, produce, and promote a diverse range of creative projects across music, film, podcasting, education, and more. Our work reflects a fusion of talent, storytelling, and cultural influence that resonates with audiences worldwide.
Founded in 2001 by pianist, composer, and arranger Travis Shook and vocalist–songwriter Veronica Nunn, Full Gallop Entertainment originally launched with its first enterprise, Dead Horse Records, alongside two publishing companies, Traveling Shoemaker and Daddy Butch. In subsequent years, the company expanded to include an independent IT consulting division, which operates separately and generates its own revenue stream.
Collaborative Partnerships
Full Gallop Entertainment maintains two longstanding artistic partnerships:
The Daya Indonesia Performing Arts Academy (formerly IMDI) in Jakarta, founded by Prof. Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsjah, M.Th., A.Mus.D. This collaboration began in 2011 through Veronica Nunn’s masterclass program “The Philosophy of Jazz Vocals and Performance Etiquette,” eventually leading to an international artist residency for Ms. Nunn.
Seed Artists, a Montclair, NJ–based nonprofit founded in 2013 by legendary drummer, percussionist and composer Pheeroan akLaff. This partnership has supported creative exchange, performance, and community engagement initiatives.
We welcome our new alliance/partnership with TRANSART, Inc., a Hudson Valley-based nonprofit founded in 1995 by Greer Smith, to support its mission to provide arts and cultural programming and consulting services throughout the Valley.
Media and Creative Work
In 2013, Dead Horse Records produced and launched the first episode of the podcast Tales From the Jazz Side, featuring guest artist interviews around the theme of “what scares us.” The series has since expanded with a vlog companion, Tales With a View, offering a more educational, in-depth exploration of jazz history and the artists who shape it.
In 2025, Full Gallop Entertainment began a new collaborative partnership with TRANSART, a nonprofit arts and cultural organization that has harnessed the transformative power of art to celebrate and advance diasporic culture throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley for over three decades.
Up next (2026) from Dead Horse Records: The And of One by Michael Franks — our most ambitious project yet. In this new podcast series, legendary singer-songwriter Michael Franks and co-host Veronica Nunn look back on Michael’s five decades of music, storytelling, and artistic evolution.
Community Engagement and Educational Outreach
While touring internationally, Full Gallop Entertainment has consistently connected artistic work with educational outreach. Through masterclasses, artist exchanges, and community programming, we have partnered with performance venues, schools, and arts organizations around the world.
Highlights include participation in “Catalyst for Change: Year 10 Interdisciplinary Exhibition & Performance” at NIST International School in Bangkok, Thailand, and collaborative initiatives with Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley (Seattle, WA) and local youth organizations. One such event brought over 40 at-risk youth and their families together for an afternoon called “What Is Jazz?”, where attendees interacted directly with Veronica Nunn and Michael Franks’ band—an example of the meaningful cultural exchange that defines our approach.
