Who We Are
Art and Culture creates the greatest value for the world, illuminating it's greatest asset - humanity.
Full Gallop Entertainment was founded in 2001 by pianist, composer, arranger, Travis Shook and vocalist songwriter Veronica Nunn along with their first enterprise, Dead Horse Records. Since then they have added three other ventures to the musical division of the company.
There are two longstanding partnerships. Beginning with the first collaborative partnership in 2011 with The Daya Indonesia Performing Arts Academy (formally IMDI), founded by Prof. Tjut Nyak Deviana Daudsjah, M.Th.,A.Mus.D., utilizing the Master Class program - The Philosophy of Jazz Vocals and Performance Etiquette developed by founder, Veronica Nunn, this lead to international artist residency for Ms. Nunn. The second collaborative partnership was established in 2013 with the Montclair, NJ based non-profit organization, Seed Artists founded by legendary musician composer, Pheeroan AkLaff.
During that same year, Dead Horse Records launched the first episode of Tales From the Jazz Side podcast featuring guest artists interviews around the topic of "what's scares us".
Our ongoing collaboration with the Arts & Culture Collective of Brooklyn For Peace, a non-profit, grassroots peace organization is moving into 20 + years of supporting, creating and producing artistic projects that utilized the large expansive art activist community in Brooklyn, NY. And while touring around the world, we connect to performance venues, various schools and organizations to conduct Masterclasses. Our participation in "Catalyst for Change" Year 10 Interdisciplinary Exhibition & Performance" held at NIST, International School in Bangkok, Thailand, as well as working with Dimitriou's Jazz Alley, Seattle WA and a local inner city youth organization, we were able to create an afternoon of "what is jazz" where over 40 local at risk youth (ages 9-18), some with their with their parents, turned out and interacted with Veronica and the Michael Franks' band. These are some of the highlights of artist exchange.
